2018 QuikTrip Charity Golf Tournament
It is great to be partners with a company that shares our core values like QuikTrip. In June we sponsored and participated in QuikTrip’s charity golf tournament benefiting the Folds of Honor Foundation.
This year QuikTrip donated $500,000 to the Folds of Honor Foundation. Roughly half of the donation came from this year’s tournament. The donations will provide 100 scholarships to children of fallen or wounded soldiers. The impact of this donation beyond measure and the children and families who benefit from these scholarships are forever grateful.

Community Matters Cafe - Charlotte Rescue Mission
Community Matters Cafe
We are thrilled to be part of the team that will “Create a Grand Opening” for the Community Matters Cafe in Uptown Charlotte. Community Matters: Insurance Partners of Charlotte and Charlotte Rescue Mission (CRM) recently announced this unique new nonprofit partnership. Community Matters Café will be a full-service restaurant and coffee shop in the 100-year-old building next door to CRM’s Rebound campus. Its focus will be to teach life skills to graduates of Charlotte Rescue Mission’s Residential Substance Abuse Recovery programs, while providing the community with an exciting new location to grab a cup of coffee, stop in for breakfast or lunch, or gather for business and community meetings.
It is an honor for us to be involved with such an exciting project that will have an amazing impact on our city!

Town Brewing - Charlotte, NC
The Doerre team is excited to announce that we have been awarded our third brewery project in Charlotte. Town Brewing Construction will begin soon and is scheduled to be completed later this year. We are excited for the opportunity to Create a Grand Opening for Town Brewing!

Binaco Tower - Uptown Charlotte
The Doerre team is very excited to partner with Binaco International Real Estate and Peadon-Finein Architecture to”Create a Grand Opening” for B Tower. B Tower is a 5-story retail building that will change the face of 5th street in Uptown Charlotte and bring new character this area hasn’t seen before. Our team recently broke ground and is constructing the 5-story, 74 ft. retail building on the plot previously occupied by Connolly’s patio. There will also be a 5th floor rooftop terrace on the B Tower building. When complete, B Tower will be about 15,000 square feet and each floor will have a balcony area overlooking bustling 5th Street. This project is on an extremely tight site and presents several challenges. As part of the project, we will widen the sidewalk to around 11 feet wide all the way to the intersection of Tryon Street. This will allow the neighboring bars and restaurants, as well as B Tower, to use sidewalk space for additional seating. We are very excited to be part of the team creating this truly transformative project for the Uptown area and Charlotte in general. This project will enhance the “restaurant/bar row” vibe on 5th Street between Church and College.

National Tire and Battery - Spartanburg, SC
The Doerre team was awarded our first project NTB earlier this year with Charlotte developer, Aston Properties. Construction of the facility is well under way and scheduled to be completed later this fall. We are excited for the opportunity to Create a Grand Opening for Aston and NTB.

Operation Christmas Child - Christmas 2016
The Doerre team had a blast volunteering for Samaritan’s Purse – Operation Christmas Child this year. We worked hard to fill shoe boxes full of gifts that will be shipped out to children all over the world. We enjoyed working together as a team to help brighten the Christmas season for those in need.

B.Good Restaurants
Doerre is honored to partner with the Boston-based, B.Good chain as they expand their footprint in North Carolina with 4 new locations. B.Good bills itself as “real.food.fast”, with farm to table food in a quick comfortable setting. The Doerre team recently completed construction of the Morrisville, NC location and is well under way on locations in the Ballantyne and Stonecrest areas of Charlote, NC. The 4th location in Uptown Charlotte will get started in early 2017.
