Our Doerre Construction Project Team has had some successful project “wins” over the past few months:

• Oakhurst on Monroe Retail – Our team is excited to partner with David Krug Associates and RED Partners to build two new ground-up retail shop shell buildings totaling about 15,500 square feet. We will also be completing the site work for about 6 acres.  This project is located on Monroe Road in the Oakhurst neighborhood of Charlotte.
• Assa Abloy – This industrial expansion project is a building and site renovation for Assa Abloy’s facility located in Monroe, NC. A 35,000 square foot addition and 10,000 square foot addition will be added to existing buildings.  The project also includes two new parking lots and a driveway to enhance the facility.  We are excited to be working with Cushman Wakefield to Create a Grand Opening for Assa Abloy.
• QuikTrip – Continuing our long-term relationship with QuikTrip, we began construction on their store in Greenville, SC this quarter.
• Rooster’s Wood Fired Kitchen and Copain Gatherings – This project includes several new private dining rooms for Jim Noble’s Rooster’s restaurant located in the South Park area of Charlotte. There is also a top of the line pastry kitchen being created for Jim’s Copain Gatherings which will service his catering business complete with a retail counter for baked goods.
• Town Brewing – We are handling the brewery project that’s underway at 800 Grandin Road, a 10,600 square-foot building formerly occupied by an industrial equipment supplier called Lubromation Inc. Work on the building will include roll-up garage doors that lead to an expansive outdoor patio, a tap room, kitchen, and the brew house is expected to wrap-up in July.
• Freedom Drive Showrooms – We handled the complete renovation of the old Goodwill Industries building located on Freedom Drive in Charlotte for Browder Real Estate Group. Since completing the shell renovations, we are now completing showrooms for A. Hoke Furniture and Walker-Zanger Tile.

We are grateful for all of these opportunities and value the relationships we have with all of our clients.  We look forward to growing these relationships and developing new ones for the second half of 2018!

The Doerre team is proud to announce that we have been awarded the ASSA ABLOY expansion project in Monroe, NC.  We are very pleased to be part of a great project team that includes Cushman-Wakefield and WH+N Architecture in Charlotte, NC.  We look forward to “Creating a Grand Opening” experience every step of the way for ASSA ABLOY.

The Doerre team is excited to announce that we have been awarded our third brewery project in Charlotte.  Town Brewing Construction will begin soon and is scheduled to be completed later this year.  We are excited for the opportunity to Create a Grand Opening for Town Brewing!

The Doerre team is very excited to partner with Binaco International Real Estate and Peadon-Finein Architecture to”Create a Grand Opening” for B Tower. B Tower is a 5-story retail building that will change the face of 5th street in Uptown Charlotte and bring new character this area hasn’t seen before.  Our team recently broke ground and is constructing the 5-story, 74 ft. retail building on the plot previously occupied by Connolly’s patio. There will also be a 5th floor rooftop terrace on the B Tower building.  When complete, B Tower will be about 15,000 square feet and each floor will have a balcony area overlooking bustling 5^th Street.  This project is on an extremely tight site and presents several challenges.  As part of the project, we will widen the sidewalk to around 11 feet wide all the way to the intersection of Tryon Street. This will allow the neighboring bars and restaurants, as well as B Tower, to use sidewalk space for additional seating. We are very excited to be part of the team creating this truly transformative project for the Uptown area and Charlotte in general. This project will enhance the “restaurant/bar row” vibe on 5th Street between Church and College.

The Doerre team was awarded our first project NTB earlier this year with Charlotte developer, Aston Properties.  Construction of the facility is well under way and scheduled to be completed later this fall.  We are excited for the opportunity to Create a Grand Opening for Aston and NTB.
