Vaulted Oak Brewing Nearing Grand Opening

Vaulted Oak Brewing Project

We are excited to announce that we recently completed the transformation of the former BB&T Bank building at 3726 Monroe Rd for Vaulted Oak Brewing in the rapidly growing Echo Hills/Oakhurst neighborhoods in Charlotte NC.  The 4000-square-feet of space, has indoor and outdoor seating, an L-shaped bar, and a 7-barrel brewhouse that can be seen from the tap room. The brewery maintains certain elements of the former bank, including the vault door, the drive-up teller window and even the pneumatic tubes.  It has been an absolute pleasure to work with owner Kiel Arrington and Spencer Architects to Create a Grand Opening for this exciting new concept.  They anticipate opening their doors in the next few weeks.

Binaco Tower Ribbon Cutting

Binaco Tower Celebrates Ribbon Cutting in Uptown Charlotte, NC

We had the privilege of  celebrating the ribbon cutting for Binaco Tower with owner, Vijay Bhojwani in Charlotte, NC.  Binaco Tower will be home to five concepts when fully leased.  The building will serve as a catalyst in efforts to create an entertainment district on Fifth Street — already a hotpot when it comes to bars and restaurants. Binaco also owns the 10,000-square-foot building next door, which is home to Connolly’s, Prohibition, The Local and Sip.   We enjoyed working with Vijay and his team to Create a Grand Opening for Binaco Tower.

Doerre Construction Celebrates our 20th Year of Creating Grand Openings!

Friends of Doerre Construction,

Today Doerre Construction celebrates 20 years of Creating Grand Openings for our clients. We planned an awesome and epic 20th anniversary celebration but social distancing has forced us to postpone this celebration. We are facing a global pandemic that is affecting our families, businesses, communities, and our way of life. While we cannot gather to celebrate, we do want to send out a huge thank you for your contribution to our success over the last 20 years.

First, our hearts go out to those impacted by the virus. To those who are sick we extend our heartfelt wishes for a full recovery. We are truly inspired by the selfless healthcare workers around the world who are on the front lines working tirelessly to care for people in need.

Second, like you and others, we are focused on the health and safety of our employees, families, and communities. Our office is working remotely and our project teams are devising new methods of completing tasks that normally require close physical contact, in order to continue delivering for our clients.

To our clients: We are appreciative and honored to work with you as clients. Thank you for your belief in our team and in our ability to help you achieve your goals and vision of success. Thank you for always challenging us to be better. The Doerre Team is continuously enriched by the people that we work with at our client organizations. Many of you have also become friends and advisors, allowing us to grow and learn individually and as a company. Thank you for your unwavering commitment and great relationships.

To our team members: To be in business for 20 years requires an organization of incredible, talented, passionate, and caring people. We are so grateful for the opportunity to work together. Your willingness to give of yourselves and help each other is incredibly special and is deeply admired. You are the best and we would not be where we are today without you.

To our partners: We would like to thank the design, engineering, and subcontractor partners we collaborate with delivering incredible work that makes a positive and sustainable impact on our client’s projects.  You are fused with our team and we are proud to work with you. Without you, we would not be able to deliver high-quality projects for our clients.

We look forward to the next 20 years, and beyond, as we continue to fulfill our purpose of Creating Grand Openings together!

Thank you and Stay Safe,

Your friends at Doerre Construction

Devil's Logic Brewing Grand Opening!

Devil’s Logic Grand Opening Video

The Doerre Construction team is excited for our friends and clients Brian Wallace and Greg Gruenich, owners of Devil’s Logic Brewery.  This was another exciting adaptive reuse project for us and our 4th brewery project.  Devil’s Logic Brewery turned the former American Billiards space, a building built in 1926 that sits on the edge of the Cherry and Elizabeth neighborhoods, into their new brew house, taproom and multi level outdoor space. The building snakes around a Domino’s and textbook shop at 1426 E. 4th St and was a tight sight that  required lots of attention to detail.

We are grateful for this opportunity to Create a Grand Opening for great owners and their team!

Community Matters Cafe Grand Opening

Community Matters Cafe Grand Opening Celebration

The Doerre team is very excited to have been part of the team that Created a Grand Opening for the Community Matters Cafe.  A crowd of over 250 people came out yesterday to officially open the Community Matters Cafe in 3rd ward, a new coffee shop and restaurant that is a part of the Charlotte Rescue Mission. As former drug and alcohol abusers in the Mission’s recovery program fight to get back to self sufficiency, they will get to work here and build life skills in customer service, hospitality, cooking, and coffee roasting while making a little money. Have your next coffee or lunch meeting here!
