Oakhurst on Monroe Retail
The Vision
Based upon previous projects and a longstanding relationship, local developers David Krug and RED Partners selected Doerre Construction to complete this urban infill project on Monroe Road in the popular Oakhurst neighborhood of Charlotte, NC.
The Project
This project entailed four new retail buildings, totaling 26,400 SF of leasable space. The project included two large outdoor plazas and a 140 space parking area. Doerre also completed the interior upfit for Swirl Bakery. The buildings consist of stone veneer, metal siding, and EIFS exteriors with steel awning systems.

The Grand Opening
Working in collaboration with the architect and owner, Doerre brought innovative solutions on storefront and metal siding budget items. Doerre coordinated all owner-provided items with tenants, delivering the shell spaces on time, as well as completing one of the interior upfits.
