The Vision

The project team transformed the former Goodwill Industries building on Freedom Drive—a structure that was previously vacant—into a high end showroom space for A. Hoke Furniture and Walker-Zanger Tile. The building was left vacant for many months after Goodwill Industries relocated to their new facility. Browder Real Estate Group purchased the building and it is now part of the exciting transformation going on in the Freemore West neighborhood just outside of Uptown Charlotte.

The Project

This project involved a complete renovation of the old Goodwill Industries building into an upscale design trade showroom space. Attention to detail was paramount on this project; our team completely renovated the interior and exterior of the building replacing all of the buildings plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems as well as increasing the parking for the facility.

The Grand Opening

This project is leading the transformation of the Freedom Drive corridor between I-85 and Uptown Charlotte. The building is now home to A. Hoke Furniture, a high end, design trade only furniture retailer, as well as a showroom for Walker-Zanger Tile. We are proud to be a part of this project.
