The Vision:

Caribou Coffee’s strategic re-entry into the North Carolina market focuses on expanding its presence with two distinctive concepts: the new Cabin Drive-Thru model and the larger Chalet renovation concept. Each design emphasizes convenience, community, and a cozy atmosphere, aligning with Caribou’s commitment to creating places where people feel at home.

  • The Cabin Drive-Thru model offers customers a fast, convenient option for their favorite Caribou drinks, with a modern, rustic design that evokes the warmth and comfort of a cabin retreat.
  • The Chalet concept reimagines existing retail spaces into spacious, inviting environments with a combination of indoor seating and expanded drive-thru services. These larger locations are designed to cater to a more community-centric coffee experience, combining efficiency with a relaxing, café-style atmosphere.

The Partnership:

Early on, Doerre Construction was selected as Caribou Coffee’s preferred general contractor partner for this exciting project.
