Burrow, Welchel & Culp Orthodontics
The Vision
The two buildings at 1513 and 1515 Mint St. were built between the 1920s and 1940s. The development is also situated atop what used to be the Rudisill Gold Mine, which was established in the 1830s and became one of the most productive gold mines in the area. The Doerre team partnered with Lischerong Development to help restore the buildings to their former glory. They total 12,250 total square feet of adaptive reuse space. Burrow, Welchel & Culp Orthodontics is a rapidly growing orthodontics group in Charlotte and one of the first tenants in 1515 S Mint Street. Their vision for the space was to create a training space for their new orthodontists as well as a showpiece office space for their practice.
The Project
After renovating the shell building at 1515 S Mint Street, the Doerre team completed the build out of the Burrow, Welchel & Culp Orthodontics office. The project included all new electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems, a new conference room, reception desk, kitchen & bathroom and 5 offices. We also completed their training room with 3 exam chairs and an x-ray room.
